Here’s what you need to know for a smooth entry.
Bags
YES, you can bring a bag to James L. Knight Center but keep it small.
- » Technically James L. Knight Center has a no-bag policy.
- » Exceptions are made for bags or purses smaller than 10” x 6” x 2”
- » All bags are searched upon entry.
Items NOT ALLOWED
- » Backpacks
- » Bags or purses larger than 10” x 6” x 2”
- » Guns, knives or weapons of any kind
- » Laser pointers
- » Video and audio recording devices
- » Selfie sticks
- » Radio scanning/jamming equipment
- » Sealed packages of any type
- » Emotional support animals
- » Flags or signs larger than 2′ x 2′
- » Professional cameras/GoPros/mirrorless DSLRs
- » Any item deemed unacceptable by management
Note: these items are subject to change per artist request. Check with the venue directly if you’re unsure.
Smoking
No smoking or vaping inside the Knight Center. Light up, and you risk getting kicked out with no re-entry.
Cameras and recording equipment
Leave the pro gear at home. No cameras with removable lenses, GoPros, or video recording allowed unless you’ve got artist-approved credentials. Don’t worry! The inhouse photographer is present for big events like Richard Clayderman, so you can relive the action with post-show pics on the venue’s (or artist’s) official Facebook page and website.
